Submissions now open!
Calling those who think and feel
Submissions for our inaugural issue are currently open and will close on 2 April 2025 at 23:59 BST. The theme for this issue is STRANGE LIFE.
We’re looking for writing and art that explores the strange beauty of the ordinary; odd fascinations; the pull of unknown people or places; atypical experiences, identities, or ideas; the cruel absurdities of our lives and times; even the concept of strangeness itself. All interpretations, however straightforward or oblique, are valid and welcome.
You are not expected to centre neurodivergence in your submissions—unless you want to! We only encourage you to let your most bold, beautiful, creative, authentic selves shine through your work.
Please ensure your submissions adhere to our guidelines, and use the submission form linked below to send in your work. Please do not make submissions via email, as these will not be considered.
You must be 18 or above to submit.
We do not accept simultaneous submissions.
Submission Guidelines
Please use a standard font for text submissions, and proofread your work before uploading it. We accept .doc and .docx files only. If your text submission has a visual element or requires specific formatting, please send in a PDF as well, for reference.
Ensure all artwork in the form of images, audio, or video is of high quality. Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG, MP3, and MP4.
You may make submissions to multiple categories, but no more than one submission per category.
Please title your files using the following convention.

You may submit up to 3 pieces of art. These may include photography, illustration, graphic art, and photos or recordings of other art forms like painting or sculpture. We also accept submissions of audio or video works of up to 5 minutes. Experimental and multimedia works are welcome.
We encourage you to caption your art or provide a write-up that tells us a bit about the piece. However, this is not a requirement. You can upload your write-up in a separate document.
